September 2020

August was a month of change for myself and my family. We officially have relocated from our home in San Diego, CA to Surprise, AZ. The move was a challenge to say the least but after settling in, we are thrilled with he decision. We’ve been greeted with “Wy would you move from San Diego to Arizona?!” several times and the truth can be told in one word. COVID.

The reality and impacts that the current pandemic has had on our entire world is undoubtedly historical. While many areas of the world are starting to open and move again, our poor Travel industry is not one of them. It’s been a long 6 months since the world has stopped moving. From planes in the sky to ships in the water, Travel has been affected greatly and while it may not seem like this day will pass, it will and when it does, we will all be here. Eager, excited and ready to help our friends, family and clients #getbacktotravel.

In our September issue, you are first joined by Kelly Bergin, President of OASIS Travel Network and myself for a wonderful look into the power, tools and opportunities that OASIS Travel Network can offer to it’s independent Travel Agents. Next, join in for a celebration with Passport Online, which is celebrating 25 years as a quality provider or technology, tools and innovation.

Join Joanie Ogg and Chad Burt for a fun look into a project that not only is very timely with the current mask mandates, but also encouraging for our amazing industry, make sure to visit https://www.masks4travel.com/ for some fun in your day!

Through these pages, you’ll find tools and information to not only educate and inform, but also to inspire and grow. We truly appreciate you spending some time in our September 2020 Issue and thank you for being the best part of TravelProfessional NEWS.

Be safe, kind and bold.
